The Textile Fibers and By-Products Association (formerly Textile Waste Exchange, formed in 1931 in Augusta, Georgia) was incorporated in 1935 as a non-profit trade organization, with headquarters in Atlanta, Ga. The office was subsequently moved to West Point, Ga. on April 1, 1965, and to Charlotte, N.C. from West Point, Ga. on July 1, 1969 and then returned to Atlanta, GA in July 1994. It is recognized by the majority of Federal Agencies as the official spokesman for our nation's textile by-products industry. |
